"Ranunculus" Print
This still life of ranunculus was created during one of Utah’s famous late winter snowstorms. The thing I anticipate most in the slow transition from winter to spring is seeing vibrant seasonal flowers in gardens and flower beds around town. When spring came late this year, I grew impatient and decided to invite my favorite flowers to my studio before they bloomed outside. I bought some beautiful pink ranunculus to sit on my desk as a reference and spent my studio time studying and drawing them. They brought me joy and hope that winter would, eventually, make way for spring.
An unframed print on archival 100% cotton paper. Each print includes an artist statement about the work to remember the stories that came with it. Some sizes offered are cropped slightly differently than the listing photo.
